Sneaq HQ · The rules of play
These terms are the agreement between you and Sneaq for using the Sneaq app and website. By creating an account or using Sneaq, you agree to them. Please read them — we've kept them short and in plain English.
Sneaq is operated by an independent app developer based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at post@sneaq.app.
You must be 18 or over to hold a Sneaq account. Children play only through a managed profile created and operated by a responsible adult inside that adult's account — children never hold their own accounts. If you add a managed profile for a child, you are responsible for their participation and for any consent required.
Keep your login details secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account, including any managed profiles you create. Tell us promptly at post@sneaq.app if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Sneaq is a game of trust between people who know each other. In-game bluffing is part of the fun — crafting a wrong answer that sounds like something another player would say is exactly what the game is designed for. What's not okay: cheating, harassing other players, impersonating someone's real identity or account outside the game (for example, logging in as someone else or pretending to be them elsewhere), attempting to break or interfere with the service, or using Sneaq for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the game or these terms.
Your answers, guesses and chosen display names are shared with the other players in your game — that's how the game works. Keep what you type appropriate for the people you're playing with. You keep ownership of what you create; you grant us the limited permission needed to operate the game. Sneaq has no open/public chat.
The Sneaq app, its design, brand, and question content are owned by us and protected by law. Use them only to play Sneaq as intended.
We work hard to keep questions and answers correct, but an occasional error may slip through. Answer judgments are part of the game, not a statement of absolute fact. Spot a mistake? Tell us at post@sneaq.app and we'll fix it.
Sneaq is currently free and shows no ads. If we introduce paid features or advertising in future, we'll make the terms clear before you opt in, and update these terms.
You can stop using Sneaq and delete your account at any time (see the account-deletion section of our privacy policy at sneaq.app/privacy#delete-account). We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
We provide Sneaq with reasonable care, but "as is" — we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from using (or being unable to use) Sneaq. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. These terms don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, flag it in the app. The current version always lives at sneaq.app/terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction — this doesn't remove any consumer protection you're entitled to in your own country.
