Need a hand?

Sneaq is an asynchronous social deduction quiz game for groups of people who know each other. One player secretly answers five trivia questions each round — everyone else sees the evidence and works out who it was.

Common questions

How do I start a game?

Tap New game on the home screen. You choose the turn timer (12, 24 or 48 hours) and the difficulty mode, then share the invite code with the people you want to play with. The game begins once everyone has joined and you start it.

How do invite codes work?

Every game has a code you can share however you like — WhatsApp, text, email. Other players tap Join with code on their home screen and enter it. There are no friend lists and Sneaq never scans your contacts.

What do the difficulty modes mean?

Family uses easy questions only, so younger players can compete. Mixed blends all difficulties. Expert uses medium and hard questions only. The game creator picks the mode when setting up.

What happens if I miss my turn?

You'll get a reminder notification halfway through your turn window. If the timer runs out while you're the answerer, that round is skipped and scores zero — and nobody is told whose round it was. If you miss a guess, you simply forfeit that round's bonus. Players are never removed from a game.

Why can't I see my own score?

This is intentional, and it's central to the game. As the secret answerer you never learn your round score, and you never find out which of your guesses landed until the Big Reveal at the end. That uncertainty is what makes the final round — matching anonymous scores to players, including your own — an actual puzzle.

I'm not getting notifications

Check that notifications are enabled for Sneaq in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → Sneaq. Android: Settings → Apps → Sneaq → Notifications). Sneaq also holds notifications during quiet hours, 10pm–8am your local time, and delivers them the following morning. If they still don't arrive, email us and we'll take a look.

How do I change my display name or avatar?

Open your profile from the icon in the top right of the home screen. If your chosen name is already taken by someone in a game you're joining, you'll be asked to tweak it for that game only.

Can I play more than one game at a time?

Yes — as many as you like. Games that need your attention float to the top of your home screen.

Managing your account

Deleting your account

You can delete your Sneaq account at any time from inside the app: open your profile, go to Account, then tap Delete Account and follow the steps.

Deleting removes your name, avatar, email address, sign-in details, notification settings, and your link to every game. Rounds you have already played remain in your friends' games as an anonymous "Departed Player" so those games can still finish — these records carry no link back to you. Deletion cannot be undone.

Signing in

Sneaq supports Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and email with a password. If you can't get back into your account, email us at post@sneaq.app and we'll help.
